She has sung major classical and contemporary works under conductors including: Robert Shaw, Bobby McFerrin, John Adams, Hugh Wolf, Eji Owe, Edo de Waart, Roger Norrington, and Valery Gergiev as well as pops concerts under Doc Severinsen, Mitch Miller and Victor Borge. She spent ten years supporting her singing habit by acting in hundreds of radio commercials and industrial videos. Businesswoman Joan's business experience includes corporate sales and marketing positions, as well as an MBA from the Carlson Executive MBA program at the University of Minnesota.
